PeteFest Summer Concert Series

Through PeteFest, The Pete Foundation aims to raise awareness for mental health advocacy while providing a fun, exciting, thought-provoking, and truly inspiring experience for all ages. In addition to spreading the love and appreciation of music, culture, art, and community through local artists and businesses, PeteFest focuses on environmental conservation and outdoor recreation.

Although the pandemic has brought on necessary changes for PeteFest, we’re still dedicated to bringing our community top-quality entertainment and activism, and to keeping the mission and culture of PeteFest alive, while keeping health and safety as our top priority and following all appropriate CDC guidelines. That’s why the second PeteFest Summer Concert Series will take place on October 3rd, 2020.

Through March 6th, DJX will be collecting gently used prom dresses, evening gowns, bridesmaids dresses, or anything else appropriate at all area Nu Yale Cleaners locations.

Ladies clean out your closets and donate to this great cause!

Project Prom will be held at The Refinery in Jeffersonville on March 19th from 3PM to 7PM!!

The Pete Foundation is a sponsor for this year's Louisville NAMI Step Forward for Mental Health Walk at Harbor Lawn on the Waterfront - come join our team!

Why?

  • To raise funds to provide FREE classes and support in all parts of town for families whose loved ones have mental illness.

  • To raise awareness that mental illness affects us all.

  • To stop the stigma . . . once and for all.

Location/Parking:

The Walk takes place at the Harbor Lawn of Waterfront Park on the river.  The address for the Green Parking Lot is 300 River Road. It is free to park there for the NAMI group. Additionally, Waterfront Park offers 7 parking lots, participants can park along the Waterfront side (north side) of River Road (meters are enforced on Saturday we’re told), and there is a surface lot across from the Great Lawn.

The Pete Foundation & PeteFest Crew will be celebrating Iroquois Amphitheater's 80th birthday with CirqueLouis! You're invited too!

“Happy Birthday!” is a celebration of birthday magic, community, and coming of age. Each year is a new adventure that over time becomes a cherished memory. CirqueLouis' performers will sing, dance, and fly in a circus celebration, each sharing their gift in honor of the venue's anniversary.

The performances are as follows:

Friday, July 20 – show at 7:30 p.m., doors open at 6:30 p.m.
Saturday, July 21 – show at 7:30 p.m., doors open at 6:30 p.m.

• Advance tickets purchased by July 4th are $12 for adults, $8 for children and students (ages 3-17 or with a valid student ID), and free for children 2 and under.

• Tickets purchased after July 4th are $16 for adults, $10 for children and students (ages 3-17 or with a valid student ID), and free for children 2 and under.

Tickets are available online at http://www.iroquoisamphitheater.com/ or in-person (without a transaction fee) at the Iroquois Amphitheater box office. All ages are welcome.

The Pete Foundation and PeteFest team will be out at the July The Flea Off Market selling merch and discounted PeteFest tickets! The July Flea off Market event features free circus performances by Suspend, and a free concert by Born Cross Eyed. The Flea Off Market is Louisville's monthly pop-up flea market, with food trucks, craft beer and cocktails, vendors, music and more.

PeteFest Poster Inspiration Unveiling

With a focus toward today’s youth, their expression through art, and their power to stomp the stigma surrounding mental health, The Pete Foundation and PeteFest Music Festival are proud to host a "poster competition" for middle- and high-school students in Louisville. All students grades five through twelve were encouraged to submit a piece of art that would be the inspiration for the official 2018 PeteFest poster.
